‘Clover/Capri’ coming Nov. 1

The short documentary Clover/Capri will be released on Nov. 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. on YouTube.

Clover/Capri details the decades-long history of an independent art house movie theater in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama, weaving through racial segregation, adult films, and its fight for free speech along the way. It was originally filmed in late 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Directed by Josh Carples. Produced by Terrible Master Films in association with Carolyn Jean’s Son Visions, 803 Films, and Early Riser Films.

March is Arts Education Month

Terrible Master Films recently worked with the Alabama Arts Alliance to produce this video promoting Arts Education Month.

Students and educators from Booker T. Washington Magnet High School and Alabama State University’s Art Department participated in the video.

The mission of the Alabama Arts Alliance is to increase public awareness of and engagement in the arts through education and advocacy.

Special thanks to artist/educator Chintia Kirana and Kress on Dexter for the interview location and Donna Russell of the Alabama Arts Alliance for making this video possible.
